AKOM MLPT 2026: Kicking Off the Year in the Heart of Solo
Updated: 1 day ago
Every year, Multipolar Technology gathers its people to look back on the year that passed and set the direction for the year ahead. For AKOM 2026, the company took the entire team out of Jakarta and into the cultural city of Solo for three days and two nights. Partner Event was entrusted to bring the program to life, from the journey itself to the main event night.
The Journey: By Train, Together
Rather than flying, the Multipolarians traveled to Solo by train from Gambir Station, split into two batches to keep the group moving smoothly. Meals and snacks were served on board, so the trip became part of the experience: a long, relaxed ride with colleagues before the event even began.

Day One: Discovering Solo

After arriving at Solo Balapan Station, the groups headed straight into the city’s character. They explored Kampung Batik Kauman, a traditional batik neighborhood, then continued on to Pasar Gede and Pasar Klewer. The evening was free for local culinary hunting around Solo’s old town, giving everyone a chance to unwind and bond over street food and coffee before the big day.

Day Two: The Main Event at De Tjolomadoe
The heart of AKOM 2026 took place at De Tjolomadoe, a former sugar factory that has been transformed into one of Central Java’s most distinctive event venues. Its industrial heritage provided a striking backdrop for a corporate kick-off.
Arrival experience.
Before the program started, guests were welcomed with an interactive pre-event experience in the foyer: an iconic welcome photo spot, digital check-in, interactive voting, an AI-generated photo booth, and a coffee corner. These touchpoints gave participants something to do and talk about from the moment they stepped inside.
Opening and company direction.
The show opened with a countdown and an energetic dance performance. The program then moved through the company’s business achievements of 2025, the strategy for 2026 presented interactively by the Board of Directors, and the announcement of the new organization structure. The values of the company were also reinforced through a “We CARE” reading and the singing of the company anthem.
Recognition and awards.
A major part of the evening celebrated people. Employees were honored through the Recognition Awards, including the Hundred Percent Club, Service Excellence, and Support Excellence categories. The Board of Directors then presented special recognition awards, followed by the Winner Circle Awards for outstanding commitment, strategic contribution, and professionalism.
Dinner and engagement.
Guests enjoyed a corporate dinner accompanied by live saxophone instrumentals. Over dinner, participants joined the Multipolarian Interactive Quiz, a Sync Beat Battle, and an e-voting session to choose the favorite entry of Innovation Day, keeping the energy high and the whole audience involved rather than just watching from their seats.
The kick-off moment.
The night peaked with the Kick-Off 2026 procession led by the Board of Directors, followed by a group photo session and a live band performance that carried the celebration to the close of the evening.

Day Three: Heading Home
After breakfast, the participants made their way back to Solo Balapan Station and returned to Jakarta by train in two batches, ending the three-day program.
Behind the Scenes
Moving a group of this size across cities, on a tight schedule, with multiple hotels, two train batches, a heritage venue, and a full-scale stage program takes careful coordination. Partner Event worked closely with the MLPT team to keep every transfer, meal, and program segment running on time, so that the Multipolarians could simply enjoy the experience.
AKOM 2026 was more than a meeting. It combined travel, culture, recognition, and entertainment into one shared experience that started the year with energy and unity.
