AMADEUS CARES 2026 - CSR Program in Kepulauan Seribu
On September 3, 2026, 30 Amadeus employees stepped away from their desks and set off for the Thousand Islands (Kepulauan Seribu). This was no ordinary getaway: the trip was part of Amadeus Cares, the company's CSR program, with a focus on protecting the marine ecosystem. Partner Event was entrusted with designing and running the entire journey, from the meeting point in Jakarta to the return to the pier in the late afternoon.
The result was a day that combined environmental action, team bonding and island downtime, all packed into one full yet comfortable program.
An Early Start at Baywalk Pier
The day began in the morning at Baywalk Pier, North Jakarta. Dressed alike in bottle-green Amadeus Cares T-shirts, participants were welcomed with snacks and warm drinks before boarding the boat. About an hour and a half later, the group arrived at Tidung Island.

On arrival, participants enjoyed a welcome drink and a group photo session. An ice-breaking session then lightened the mood, so the team was relaxed and in sync before the main activities began.

Real Action for the Ocean
The heart of the CSR program consisted of three connected activities:
Coral reef preservation briefing and program. Participants learned about the role coral reefs play in the marine ecosystem, then took part directly in the preservation program.
Fish release. Each participant released fish into the sea as a symbol of support for sustainable marine life in the waters around Tidung Island.
Beach clean-up. The team combed the shoreline and collected litter washed in by the currents, a simple action with immediately visible results. To help keep the beach clean long after the event, Amadeus also donated trash bins to Tidung Island.
After working under the midday sun, participants took a break with snacks and fresh coconuts.

Unwinding on Payung Island
With the environmental mission complete, the group crossed over to Payung Island, where participants were free to take photos and enjoy lunch together by the beach.
The afternoon was dedicated to the Asha Beach Experience. Participants could try canoeing and paddle boarding, or simply enjoy the photo spots along the beach. For those wanting more action, a padel court, ATVs, jet skis, fishing and diving were also available.
Before heading home, participants wrapped up the day with snacks and coffee at The Green. The boat then brought the group back to Baywalk Pier, and the program ended at around 5 p.m.

Behind the Scenes: Partner Event's Role
A multi-island program like this calls for tight coordination. Partner Event handled the entire event end to end:
Designing a CSR concept aligned with Amadeus's goals
Arranging sea transport and transfers between islands
Coordinating with the conservation program organizers and the venue on Payung Island
Preparing meals, activities and the flow of the day
Ensuring the safety and comfort of all 30 participants from departure to return
This let the Amadeus team simply show up and focus on the activities, while Partner Event took care of every technical detail.
More Than Just an Outing
True to the Amadeus Cares slogan, "Together, we make a difference", this program showed that a CSR initiative can also be a moment of team togetherness. Participants went home with a memorable experience, while the sea around the Thousand Islands received a real contribution.
